Independence Unlimited is a center for independent living serving the greater Hartford area. Like all CILs it is run by and for people with disabilities and provides the five core services: information and referral, independent living skills training, peer support, individual and systems advocacy, and transition support for people moving out of institutions or from school to adult life. It also works on housing access, personal assistance and community integration.
