DC Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF)
DHCF is the single state Medicaid agency for the District of Columbia. It runs DC Medicaid and the DC Healthcare Alliance, and it holds formal authority for every Home and Community-Based Services waiver in the District, including the two IDD waivers that DDS administers day to day and the Elderly and Persons with Physical Disabilities waiver. Its Long Term Care Administration sets the rules, rates and provider enrollment requirements that IDD, personal care and home health providers work under.
