Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), DC Department on Disability Services
The Developmental Disabilities Administration is the arm of DDS that runs day-to-day services for District residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DDA determines eligibility, assigns service coordinators, writes Individual Support Plans and certifies the residential, day, employment and clinical providers who deliver waiver services. It publishes two provider listings, one of Human Care Agreement and pre-qualified providers and one showing which providers are authorized for each waiver service. DDA also runs the formal complaint system for people receiving its services.
