American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD)
AAPD is a national disability-led, cross-disability civil rights organization founded in 1995. It works to increase the political and economic power of people with disabilities through federal policy advocacy, voting access work, a congressional internship and summer leadership program for young people with disabilities, and corporate and employment initiatives. It is headquartered in the District.
