MBI Health Services is one of the larger behavioral health organizations based in the District. It is certified by the DC Department of Behavioral Health as a provider of mental health and substance use services, and it is also certified by the DDS Developmental Disabilities Administration for residential habilitation and supported living for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. That combination makes it one of the small number of District providers equipped to support people with a dual diagnosis of IDD and a mental health condition.
