Delaware Division of Developmental Disabilities Services
DDDS is the Delaware state agency that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they can live, work and take part in their communities. It operates the Medicaid Lifespan Waiver, which pays for services such as residential supports, day habilitation, supported employment, community participation and behavioral supports, and it also runs a state respite program and the Stockley Center campus. Families apply through the Office of Applicant Services, which determines eligibility, and people who are found eligible work with a DDDS case manager on an individual plan. DDDS also administers the Pathways to Employment program with the Medicaid agency for young people and adults who want competitive employment.
