PAWS for People
PAWS for People is a Newark-based pet therapy nonprofit whose volunteer teams visit schools, hospitals, group homes, libraries and other settings. Its therapy animals work with adults and children with any type of disability, and its PAWS for Reading program pairs struggling readers with dogs to build reading confidence.
