Florida Division of Blind Services - Palmetto Satellite Office
The DBS Palmetto satellite office serves people who are blind, visually impaired or deafblind in Charlotte, DeSoto, Highlands, Manatee, Sarasota. It delivers the division's programs locally: the Blind Babies Program for infants and toddlers, the Children's Program, the Transition Program for students, vocational rehabilitation for working-age adults, and the Independent Living Program for adults and older people losing vision. Services are free.
