Food and basic needs programs aimed specifically at people with disabilities were checked explicitly as a category. Almost none exist in Florida as standalone organizations. Food reaches people with disabilities through the general food bank and pantry network, through the federal Adult Care Food Program inside day programs, and through case management in larger agencies, rather than through disability-specific food organizations.
