Florida rural interior and Panhandle counties: county-by-county finding
The rural interior and Panhandle counties were checked county by county rather than inferred. Of the twenty-three counties checked, seven have a disability organization physically based in the county, two more have a satellite site of a larger operator, and fourteen have nothing based in county at all. Where nothing is based in a county, coverage comes from a regional organization headquartered elsewhere, usually an Arc chapter, a Lighthouse agency or a CARD center, and in several cases from nothing that could be confirmed.
