Florida transportation and paratransit for people with disabilities: category check
Transportation and paratransit were checked explicitly as a category. Florida's paratransit is delivered almost entirely by public bodies: county transit authorities operating complementary ADA paratransit, and the Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged, which coordinates a county-by-county network of community transportation coordinators. Very little of it is delivered by independent disability organizations, and what is comes as a service line inside a larger provider rather than as a standalone transport nonprofit.
