iBudget Florida

Confirmed Profile

iBudget Florida is the state's Medicaid 1915(c) home and community-based services waiver for people with developmental disabilities, administered by APD under an interagency agreement with the Agency for Health Care Administration, which is Florida's single state Medicaid agency. Instead of authorising services one at a time, the waiver gives each enrolled person an individual annual budget they and their waiver support coordinator allocate across approved services. Covered services include personal supports, residential habilitation, life skills development (companion, supported employment and adult day training), behavior analysis, therapies, respite, nursing, transportation, consumable medical supplies, durable medical equipment and environmental accessibility adaptations. As of 5 January 2026 the waiver served 36,707 people.
