Parent to Parent of Miami, Inc.
Parent to Parent of Miami is a parent-run nonprofit that has supported families of children and young adults with disabilities and special health care needs in Miami-Dade County for over 35 years. Its staff and volunteers are themselves parents and family members of people with disabilities. It provides information, education and emotional support at no cost, running in-person and virtual workshops on parenting, leadership, postsecondary transition, disability, financial planning and advocacy, alongside one-to-one parent matching, an annual family engagement picnic and a holiday toy drive.
