The Arc of Florida
The Arc of Florida is the state chapter of The Arc, based in Tallahassee. It is an advocacy and chapter-support body rather than a direct service provider: it carries the network's public policy work to the Florida Legislature, supports local chapters, and runs a chapter locator for families. Florida's Arc network is one of the largest in the country and most of its local chapters are substantial Medicaid waiver service providers, not advocacy groups. The state office does not itself deliver waiver services.
