Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville is the largest rehabilitation system in Florida for people with brain injury, spinal cord injury and stroke. Relevant programs include brain injury rehabilitation, spinal cord rehabilitation, a disorders of consciousness program, pediatric rehabilitation, neuro recovery centers, a Brain Injury Clubhouse, behavioral medicine, community programs, support groups and a peer mentor service. It is a hospital system rather than a disability service organization, but it is where most Floridians with a new spinal cord or brain injury will be treated and reconnected to community supports.
