Atlanta Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging
One of Georgia's 12 Area Agencies on Aging, covering the Atlanta Region and its 10 counties. It plans and buys Older Americans Act services locally: home-delivered and congregate meals, in-home personal support, adult day health, caregiver respite, transportation, legal assistance, benefits counseling and care coordination. It is also the Aging and Disability Resource Connection access point for its region, which means it takes calls from people with disabilities of any age, not only older adults.
