Archdiocese of Atlanta Disabilities Ministry

Confirmed Profile

The Disabilities Ministry of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta supports people with disabilities and their families across north Georgia parishes. It coordinates parish-level ministries, which the parishes themselves name variously as disability ministry, special needs faith formation and special needs youth groups, and supports Faith and Light communities, small groups of people with a developmental disability together with their families and friends who meet to share friendship, pray and celebrate together. It also publishes a route map through Georgia's public disability services for Catholic families.
