Georgia Gateway
Georgia Gateway is the state's integrated benefits eligibility and application system, at gateway.ga.gov. A household uses one account to screen for and apply to SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, WIC and childcare assistance, and to report changes and renew. For disability services it matters because Medicaid eligibility is the gate to the NOW and COMP waivers: DBHDD determines DD eligibility, but the financial Medicaid determination runs through the Department of Human Services and Gateway. Gateway screens and accepts applications; each program still approves separately.
