Georgia Options
Georgia Options, based in Athens, supports adults with developmental disabilities to live in their own homes rather than in group settings. It provides community living support, additional staffing up to 24 hours a day for people who need it, and community access. Services are designed individually with the person and their support network, starting from what they want their life to look like. The organization is explicit that it works against segregation and presumed incompetence.
