La'akea
La'akea, listed by DDD as La'a Kea Community Farm and trading as La'akea Village, is an intentional residential and farming community in Paia on Maui for adults with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities. It runs a twelve-acre biodynamic farm, a country store, vocational work and an indoor day program alongside residential habilitation and additional residential supports, adult day health, individual and group community learning services, personal assistance and habilitation, respite, behavior and nurse training and consultation and specialized medical equipment and supplies. It is an approved Hawaii DDD Medicaid I/DD Waiver provider agency.
