The Arc in Hawaii, Inc.
The Arc in Hawaii is the Oahu Arc chapter and one of the largest providers of services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the state. It operates residential habilitation and additional residential supports in licensed and certified homes, adult day health at three Oahu sites in Diamond Head, Pearl City and Wahiawa, individual and group community learning services, nurse training and consultation and specialized medical equipment and supplies. Its roots go back to the parent movement that pressed for community alternatives to Waimano. It is an approved Hawaii DDD Medicaid I/DD Waiver provider agency.
