Hawaii Public Housing Authority
The Hawaii Public Housing Authority owns and manages the state's federal and state public housing and administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program statewide outside the City and County of Honolulu's own program. It operates accessible units and processes reasonable accommodation requests, and it is the main route to subsidised housing for a person with a disability living on a fixed income in a state with the highest housing costs in the country.
