HUGS (Help, Understanding and Group Support)
HUGS supports families in Hawaii who have a child with a serious or life-threatening illness, working to improve the family's quality of life rather than treating the child. Its services are free and include peer support, family activities, practical help and connection to other families in the same position. It serves families from all islands, many of whom are on Oahu for their child's treatment.
