Hui Malama Ola Na 'Oiwi
Hui Malama Ola Na 'Oiwi is the Native Hawaiian Health Care System for Hawaii Island. It provides care coordination, health screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar and vision, exercise programs, health workshops and support groups, all free to clients, across an island large enough that travel is itself a barrier to care. It is one of the five Native Hawaiian Health Care Systems coordinated by Papa Ola Lokahi under the Native Hawaiian Health Care Improvement Act, and it serves all residents of its area, not only Native Hawaiians.
