Disability Rights Iowa

Confirmed Profile

Disability Rights Iowa is the federally designated protection and advocacy agency for Iowa, an independent 501(c)(3) that is not a state agency or a service provider. It defends the human and legal rights of Iowans with disabilities through individual legal representation, systemic advocacy, investigation of abuse and neglect in facilities, benefits planning assistance, representative payee oversight and voting access work. There is no income limit to request help, and DRI serves adults and youth with any disability wherever they live.
