Iowa Health Link
Iowa Health Link is the Medicaid managed care program that covers most Iowa Medicaid members, integrating physical health, behavioral health and long-term services and supports in one plan. Three managed care organizations are currently contracted: Iowa Total Care, Molina Healthcare of Iowa and Wellpoint Iowa. HCBS waiver services, including case management, supported community living and day habilitation, are authorized and paid through the member's MCO rather than fee-for-service, except for members who remain in fee-for-service Medicaid. Dental coverage is carved out to Delta Dental of Iowa or DentaQuest.
