League of Human Dignity, Southwest Iowa Center for Independent Living
The League of Human Dignity operates the Center for Independent Living serving eight counties in southwest Iowa from an office in Council Bluffs. It provides information and referral, independent living skills training, peer counseling, individual and systems advocacy, and transition services for people leaving institutions or at risk of entering them. The League is a multi-state organization whose main office is in Lincoln, Nebraska.
