Wellpoint Iowa is one of the three managed care organizations contracted for Iowa Health Link Medicaid and Hawki. It was previously branded Amerigroup Iowa. Wellpoint covers Medicaid state plan benefits and authorizes HCBS waiver services for its members, assigning community-based case managers to members on the long-term services and supports waivers.
