Katie Beckett Program (Idaho Medicaid)

Confirmed Profile

Katie Beckett is Idaho's Medicaid eligibility option for children who live at home with long-term disabilities or complex medical needs whose family income would otherwise place them over the limit. A child qualifies under one of two routes: a developmental disability with substantial functional limitations in at least three life domains, or a chronic condition meeting SSI disability criteria that requires an institutional level of care but can be met at home. Coverage includes behavioral health, dental, physical, occupational and speech therapy, home health, hospital care, prescriptions and durable medical equipment. Income-based premiums may apply but inability to pay does not end eligibility.
