Medicaid for Workers with Disabilities (Idaho Medicaid Buy-In)

Confirmed Profile

Medicaid for Workers with Disabilities is Idaho's Medicaid buy-in. It lets people aged 16 to 64 who have a Social Security-defined disability and who work or are self-employed keep Medicaid coverage while earning more than standard Medicaid income limits allow. Part of the applicant's income must come from work. Enrollees receive the Medicaid Enhanced Plan, which includes developmental disability services, children's service coordination and long-term services and supports, and they pay a monthly premium scaled to income and marital status.
