Panhandle Special Needs, Inc.
Panhandle Special Needs (PSNI) is a Sandpoint-based provider that has worked with adults with disabilities in Bonner and Boundary counties for over 40 years. It runs three service lines: Adult Day Health, Life Skills Training and Employment Services, built around individual needs and input from the people served. It also operates three retail social enterprises (ACE Cardboard recycling, The Greenhouse and The Cottage, which provide paid work for clients and revenue for the programs. The organization states it serves more than 200 people with disabilities a year at its Sandpoint facility.
