IMPACT Center for Independent Living in Alton is a non residential, disability led, self help organization founded in 1985 that serves people with disabilities and their families. It provides advocacy, peer support, independent living skills training, and information and referral, and it offers equipment for people who are blind or have low vision and a free amplified phone program through ITAC.
