El Valor
El Valor is a Chicago organization whose stated mission is to support children, people with disabilities and their families to achieve excellence and participate fully in life. Its own site describes adult disability services focused on personal choice, enrichment, job placement and independence, children's programs with family support and developmental services, birth to three in-home visiting, early childhood education, digital literacy instruction in SMART classrooms, a monarch butterfly conservation program and parent enrichment seminars and family groups. The site reports serving more than 4,000 people a year.
