Evansville State Hospital
Evansville State Hospital is one of Indiana's state psychiatric hospitals, on an 88-acre campus on the east side of Evansville. It provides inpatient treatment for adults with chronic mental illness and substance use disorders, with psychiatrists, nursing, psychology, social work and rehabilitation therapy staff, and runs a community integration program aimed at moving patients to the least restrictive setting. It is accredited by The Joint Commission as an inpatient psychiatric hospital and certified by CMS.
