Indiana PathWays for Aging
Indiana PathWays for Aging is Indiana's managed long-term services and supports program for Hoosiers aged 60 and over who have Medicaid or Medicaid and Medicare. It launched July 1, 2024 under a 1915(b) managed care authority with a companion 1915(c) PathWays Waiver, and it is administered by the FSSA Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning rather than by DDARS. Members choose a health plan and get a care and services coordinator. Roughly 120,000 Hoosiers qualify, and the state expects about 75 percent of them to receive long-term care at home rather than in a facility.
