MEDWorks (Medicaid for Employees with Disabilities), Indiana Medicaid Buy-In
MEDWorks, also written M.E.D. Works, is Indiana's Medicaid buy-in for working people with disabilities. It lets a working Hoosier with a disability qualify for full Medicaid at higher income than the standard aged, blind and disabled limits in exchange for a monthly premium. Members who are 59 or younger, not institutionalized, not on an HCBS waiver and not enrolled in Medicare are enrolled in the Hoosier Care Connect managed care program.
