Kansas Community Supports Waiver
The Community Supports Waiver is a new Kansas Medicaid waiver taking effect on 1 October 2026 for people aged five and older with intellectual or developmental disabilities who do not need round-the-clock support but would otherwise meet the institutional level of care. It pays for employment support, personal care, respite, therapies, assistive technology, home modifications and transportation, capped at 20,000 dollars per person per year.
