Kansas Medicaid Home and Community Based Services waivers

Confirmed Profile

Kansas runs seven Medicaid home and community based services waivers: Intellectual and Developmental Disability, Physical Disability, Brain Injury, Autism, Serious Emotional Disturbance, Frail Elderly and Technology Assisted. Each pays for supports that let someone live at home or in the community rather than in an institution. Entry to the I/DD waiver is only through a local CDDO; the other waivers start with the Aging and Disability Resource Center.
