Autism Society of the Heartland
The Autism Society of the Heartland provides information, referral and community programming for autistic people and their families across the Kansas City region, spanning both Kansas and Missouri. Its programs include A.W.A.R.E., a monthly social event series for autistic adults, sensory-friendly community events, support groups, and an autism community events calendar. It runs an annual 5K/1K and golf tournament as fundraisers.
