Osawatomie State Hospital
Osawatomie, founded in 1866, is the state psychiatric hospital for eastern Kansas, serving adults from 36 counties regardless of ability to pay. It provides acute inpatient psychiatric assessment, treatment and discharge planning in coordination with the community mental health centers.
