Heartland Therapeutic Riding, Inc.
Heartland provides equine-assisted services for children and adults with physical, emotional and cognitive disabilities, serving more than 100 participants a week from the Kansas City area. Programs include adaptive riding lessons, occupational therapy, equine-assisted counseling and horsemanship lessons. It is a PATH International Premier Accredited Center and has operated since 1978, making it one of the longest-running programs of its type in the country.
