Hetlinger provides "a variety of enrichment programs to intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals" and has served this population since 1961. Its six program lines are Hetlinger Grows, Works, Thrives, Creates, Empowers and Performs, covering employment, community volunteering and enrichment activities, with transportation available. Important: the separate Hetlinger CDDO (hetlingercddo.org, 620-342-1098, 707 S Commercial St, Emporia) is the CDDO for Chase, Lyon, Morris and Wabaunsee counties and is excluded from this list per your rules. The historic KDADS/KCDC map listed a single combined entity; the two now present as distinct.
