Maine Association of the Deaf INC
The Maine Association of the Deaf serves Deaf and hard of hearing people in Maine, promoting their social, recreational, educational, civic, and economic welfare and working with other associations on national issues. It organizes community events such as Deaf Culture Week and a Deaf Culture Festival silent auction, and sends delegations to national Deaf conferences. Its site also provides interpreting information and workshops for the community and for interpreters.
