Mission Working Dogs
Mission Working Dogs trains purpose-bred service dogs for people in Maine who are living with a disability, so that handlers can live more independently despite a physical disability. The organization also provides therapy dogs that visit settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, and schools, and it runs an application process for people seeking a dog along with puppy-raising and volunteer programs.
