National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia Practices
The National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia Practices advocates for services and supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are at risk of or affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, and for their families. It publishes dementia care guidelines, publications, and topic resources, maintains a family support section and the NTG-EDSD early detection screening tool, and runs training, webinars, and workshops for professionals in the United States and Canada.
