Shalom House
Shalom House provides community-based mental health services and a choice of affordable housing for adults living with severe mental illness in the Portland area. Housing ranges from transitional housing and group homes to independent apartments, and the organization also offers housing subsidies, an art program, referrals, and training. Its stated goal is to help people address personal goals, receive services, take medications, and take part in the community.
