Independence Association INC
Independence Association, founded in 1966, supports more than 350 children and adults with intellectual disabilities or autism and their families in Midcoast and Central Maine, and runs the Spindleworks art program. Maine DHHS lists the agency as a provider of Section 21 and 29 case management, community support, employment, group home, home support and shared living services in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Kennebec and Lincoln counties and 3 other counties.
