Michigan Braille Trans Fund
The Michigan Braille Transcribing Fund produces braille materials for people who are blind or visually impaired, transcribing textbooks and other printed materials and providing printing and embossing services and a publication catalog. Based in Jackson, it is one of the largest braille production facilities of its kind in the country, and its work focuses on giving blind children and students access to brailled books that would otherwise be cost prohibitive.
