North Eastern Michigan Rehabilitation and Opportunity Center (NEMROC) in Alpena provides employment training and counseling for people with significant disabilities through paid work. Founded in 1968, it employs more than 100 workers with disabilities in a manufacturing operation producing wood-based products and vinyl chair mats, and offers supported employment services.
