SMILES Center for Independent Living has worked to empower people with disabilities in the Mankato area since 1990, with the aim of expanding access, choice, and independence. Its services include independent living and skills training, advocacy, assistive technology and ramps, CDCS planning, information and referral, PCA programs, peer mentoring, representative payee services, and transition to community.
